MY MISSION STATEMENT

TO CREATIVELY DISCOVER AND UNLOCK POTENTIAL

I see potential in the way people pursue transportation solutions - getting from place to place faster or more efficiently has been proven to help the economy. It does so, because you’re able to get more out of life - in a business sense, this means more productivity. However, in a personal sense, it means doing more of what makes you you. You can visit family, you can develop personal business connection, you can experience a new culture.

Similarly, fitness unlocks your ability to live life better. You can move with ease with the children around you. You can explore nature, be confident in your body’s abilities to lift, jump, run, row, swim and process the food around you without ill effects. Fitness and health are to me, synonymous with potential.

The ability to find projects that excite me and bring them to life in the areas of transportation or fitness are the current career areas where I see my mission statement coming to life. In the future, I want to extend this to my own family, creating wealth (read: potential) and also funding other projects and companies to help others realize their own potential.

My Story

In southwest RI, born an raised. Near the beach was where I spent most of my days.

Geeking out with music, relaxing all coo...

Er that got old quick. I have a basic story - grew up in a suburban town, balancing looking different from the majority of my high school with trying to make my parents proud. After paying way too much money for a few too many degrees, now I split my time in the DC area between aviation research, CrossFitting, and my other creative pursuits. If I had to sit down with some people for dinner, the list would look something like: Wynton Marsalis, Stan Lee, C. S. Lewis, W.E.B. DuBois, Teddy Roosevelt and Michael Crichton. Take from that what you will. Still reading? Just click the links already, that's what you're here for.

ADDITIONAL Interests

I am also exploring my passion in fitness as children’s book author and comic creator as founder of CartoonFit Comics. Although the subject matter of funny fitness cartoons and picture books is light, we live in a country where ignoring preventable diseases – obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, is very serious . These comics are a light-hearted entry into the fitness world that can prevent these illnesses and Marcus hopes to spread awareness to kids and adults through CartoonFit Comics.
